In my childcare home we celebrate children's birthdays, special holidays and what children learned to do.
I do have a dog who is great with the children we even have him dress up for our scary parade day in October
My childcare home is a relaxing place for children. I do things that parents would like to do with their children. We have baking projects, fun cooking days where children get to cut out their own special toast example is this month will be tree and bunny toast
Children get to play and learn thru out the day.
Some times our learning comes thru snack food for counting out the number. Example is number ten we all count out ten goldfish crackers
Color day some times have food for the color two examples: yellow food day make yellow milk with a drop of food dye and yellow beans. Red day homemade meatballs and sauce red milk for snack time
We have story time and music time daily
I believe that each child is special. Each child has some along time with me thru out the day.
I don't make children eat what they do not want. I have a morning and afternoon nap for children in daycare. If child doesn't go to sleep for telling them it is quiet time and let he/she look at books.

Summer month June to September
We will do things for the days children are here. This is the vacation time for family so activity schedule is done daily for age of children here.
We will have a circus activity, home made ice cream project making, , parades, safety playing. are a few of the things we will do this summer
